This explains why Shiatsu places so much emphasis on the care of one's own hara.
As postulated by Masunaga, the conception and steering vessels are above all other meridians and regulate them. They are the first two meridians in the primitive (in the sense of original) cell, even before the nervous system is formed.
We can therefore understand the conception vessel (KG) as the mother of all other meridians.
